How custom software cost is scoped

Custom software cost depends on the scope of the problem. A focused workflow or integration costs less than a new SaaS product. Zygrix Solutions scopes the work after discovery and treats budget ranges as a conversation starter, not a quote.

Infrastructure used to host custom software and integrated systems

There is no honest fixed price

Anyone quoting a single number before understanding the process is guessing. Cost follows the size of the product, the number of systems to connect, the amount of original design, and the care needed after launch.

Budget ranges we use in conversations

These ranges appear on the Zygrix contact form so a team can signal scale. They are not a quote and they are not a promise of a specific outcome.

Conversation range Typical shape of work
To be discussed The problem is not sized yet.
Under $10,000 A focused slice: a small workflow, integration, or spike.
$10,000 – $25,000 A contained product or automation with a clear boundary.
$25,000 – $50,000 A broader system, platform slice, or multi-step operation.
$50,000+ A larger product, SaaS platform, or multi-system program.

What moves the number up or down

  • Whether we are building new, improving an existing system, or applying a focused AI workflow
  • How many roles, statuses, and edge cases the process has
  • How many existing tools must stay in place and stay in sync
  • Whether the software is internal, customer-facing, or a commercial product

How Zygrix scopes a project

Discovery comes first. We understand the challenge and the work that needs to change, then recommend build, improve, or AI. A written agreement is what creates an engagement. Sending a message does not.

Questions

Answers people ask before they start.

Does Zygrix publish hourly rates?

No. We start from the problem and the budget range you share, then scope the useful path. Rates and commercial terms are agreed in writing for a specific engagement.

Can I contact Zygrix without a budget?

Yes. Choose “To be discussed” or leave the budget optional. A short description of the challenge is enough to start.
